South Dakota close to passing Medical Marijuana initiative

by admin on October 19, 2010

In 2006 South Dakota voters narrowly defeated a medical marijuana initiative by four percentage points. Next month a new initiative is back on the ballott and supporters are optimistic on its passage. Measure 13 would allow medical marijuana patients to posses one ounce of marijuana and grow up to six plants. All patients would have to be approved by a doctor and register with the state health board.
